You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a POST-WAR Czech variant of the WW2 German Luftwaffe (Variometer Expansions Tank) Fl. 22360, as used in various Fighter, Bomber, and Transport aircraft!
This bottle was connected to the Variometer. This instrument measured the vertical speed climb/decent using the surrounding air pressure. It was located on the main instrument panel of many German aircraft.
Made post-war, this is an exact copy of the German version, for use in the post-war Avia S-199 (Me109 G10), Avia S-92 (Me262), and K-65 (Fi156)
Made of aluminum, this expansion tank is in EXCELLENT used condition! Some marks and wear due to the age, but otherwise quite solid! This connected directly to the line at the back of the variometer. Quite rare, and much safer than the German version which was made of glass. Good for a warbird restoration project that wishes to have a more safer option than the original glass German version. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
