WW II German Aircraft Ausgleichgewicht – ELEVATOR COUNTERWEIGHT ARM – Me109

You are bidding on a SUPERB and AIRWORTHY example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Me109 Ausgleichgewicht Hebel (Elevator Counterweight Arm), R8-109.40-2301!  This type was used on all Me109E thru K series aircraft.

This control arm was part of the elevator control mechanism of the Me109.  It connected directly to the control column via a rod which went under the cockpit floor.

Made of aluminum, this control arm & counter weight is in VERY NICE unused condition!  Copied from an original, there is some slight wear and marks from storage, but nothing that detracts.  I have shown it’s location in the last photo.  Needs to be fitted to match the counterweight size.  Would make an PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
