WW II German Aircraft Air Force – WAGENER / AUER 306 PILOT GOGGLES – VERY NICE!

You are bidding on a FANTASTIC set of WW2 German Luftwaffe Wagener / Auer Model 306 Pilot Goggles (Schutzbrille)!  These were used by many fighter and bomber pilots!

Made of aluminum and rubber, this is a VERY NICE set of Model 306 Flight Goggles!  In used condition, they do show some slight marks and wear throughout…but are VERY solid otherwise!  Lenses are clear and feature no major scratches or damage.  The rubber face pad is EXCELLENT with no breaks…but there is some stiffness in areas (normal, due to the age)  The metal frame retains 95% original paint & finish!  The strap has lost some of elasticity, but again, that is quite consistent with the age/wear.  The bridge features two adjustment/retaining screws, as well as an “OW” stamped on the reverse for “Otto Wagener”.  Comes with a spare set of tinted lenses.  One of the NICEST sets I have seen, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
