WW II German Air Force Unterfeldwebel Dienstgradabzeichen – SLEEVE RANK – NICE

1 in stock

You are bidding on a NICE used example of  a WW2 German Luftwaffe Unterfeldwebel Sleeve Rank!

After the official formation of the Luftwaffe, on May 27, 1935 a system of rank insignia for garments (that normally would not have any rank insignia was) was introduced.  Originally the insignia was worn on both upper sleeves, but later regulations in 1942 restricted wear to the upper left sleeve as a cost saving measure.  The insignia was a series of horizontal white wings and bars for the ranks of Unteroffizier through to the rank of Oberst and a series of golden yellow “wings” and bars for the ranks of Generalmajor through to Reichsmarschall.

Made of Dark Blue and White Felt, this sleeve insignia is in EXCELLENT used condition!  Indicating the rank of Unterfeldwebel, it appears to have been cut down from a Feldwebel Rank.  There is some wear and marks due to the age, but nothing that detractsWould make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
