Description
The German Army used a wide variety of optical equipment. German archives gives this series as Richtungsweiser-Fernrohr, but the abbreviation on the identification plates varies. Rm (Raummess) and Beob (Beobachtung) are normally found. Since it has a reticle with the pointed arrow, it is placed in the category aiming. This type was used on the firecontrol units “Kommandogerät 40” and the later versions. In most cases two of them were fixed on the 4 m rangefinder. In some cases a third specimen was mounted as a reserve.

Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft. ——————- COPYRIGHT —————– |
