Description
This Identification Handbook was used by Fighter Pilots and Bomber Crews in order to properly identify friendly and enemy warships. Made of heavy paper, this Reference Handbook is in EXCELLENT condition for its age! Produced by the Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe, it details both German and British Warships (Battleships, Cruisers, Destroyers, Aircraft Carriers, Torpedo Boats, U-Boots/Submarines, Minesweepers, and Schnellboots). Also includes the names of each ship known at the time, along with some being crossed out, as they were previously lost in combat. One fold-out is quite interesting, as it depicts a birds-eye view of most classes, along with the specific wake they make in the water (for easy identification). No major damage, however there are some slight marks, wear, and tears. Covers all German, British, and some French warships. A PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
