WW II German Air Force Gashebel – THROTTLE ARM ASSEMBLY – Fw190 A-G – VERY RARE!

Out of stock

You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE example of WW2 German Luftwaffe Gashebel (Throttle Lever), 152.700-0109 as ONLY used in the Fw190 A-D Fighter Aircraft!

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is a German single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft designed by Kurt Tank at Focke-Wulf in the late 1930s and widely used during World War II. Along with its well-known counterpart, the Messerschmitt Bf109, the Fw190 became the backbone of the Jagdwaffe (Fighter Force) of the Luftwaffe. The twin-row BMW 801 radial engine that powered most operational versions enabled the Fw190 to lift larger loads than the Bf 109, allowing its use as a day fighter, fighter-bomber, ground-attack aircraft and to a lesser degree, night fighter.

Made of aluminum and steel, this Throttle Arm Assembly was manufactured between 1944 and 1945.  As it came from a wreck, there is some damage, marks, and wear, however it is VERY solid, and still retains much of it’s original field-applied yellow paint!  All the original wiring is intact which connected directly to the prop pitch switch/throttle knob.  The top section is missing, but I have referenced what is missing…so if one has the top throttle part, it could be connected to this to make it complete! An  EXTREMELY RARE item, I have indicated it’s location in the last photo.  A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!

——————– ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
