You are bidding on an EXCELLENT and VERY RARE WW2 German Luftwaffe Fabric Aircraft skin! Removed from an Fi-156 Storch, this fragment was cut from a wrecked aircraft during the war. Sadly, I do not have any further history.
Made of lightweight fabric, this section is in AMAZING condition, and retains 95% of its original paint! Though it does feature some marks and wear due to the age, all colors are VERY BRIGHT! Camouflage consists of RLM82…and either RLM81 or RLM22…with traces of the Red Oxide primer Paint. Judging from the paint coloring, it is either from the Fuselage Balkencross & Rumpfband…or possibly a Fuselage Tactical Marking (White “P”). I have indicated the location in the last photos. There is an inscription on the reverse that indicates:
Allemand – Juin 43
(German Scout / Reconnaissance Aircraft – June 1943)
Could have been cut while in France or Belgium. Measuring approx. 10″x 17″ in size, original aircraft skin is size is EXTREMELY rare as it usually burned up or rotted away over time. A one-of-a-kind item which would make an FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
