Description
Joachim Helbig (10 September 1915 – 5 October 1985) was a German bomber pilot during World War II, who served almost all of his career with Lehrgeschwader 1. Participated in the invasion of Poland, the Norwegian Campaign, and in the battles of the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Britain. Later served in North Africa and Russia where he surrendered. Recipient of the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords.
Made of heavy card, this postcard is in EXCELLENT condition! Featuring a photographic image of Joachim Helbig, it is signed in ink at the bottom. Some marks and wear due to the age on the reverse, but nothing that detracts. 100% original, it would look EXCELLENT framed! A PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
