Description
Mounted on the main instrument panel, this clock needs no introduction. It was made famous throughout the war as the standard German Aircraft Cockpit Clock. It was usually mounted on the front or side cockpit consoles and features a chronometer, adjustable bezel, and a 15-minute timer.
Made of aluminum with a bakelite bezel, this 4th model Junghans clock is in EXCELLENT used condition! Retains 85% of the ORIGINAL paint and finish, and features the screw on back. Date plate is worn (common). The dial still glows at night (must be charged with UV light). It is 100% FUNCTIONAL…however…it starts/stop intermittently. As such, it will need a bit of a cleaning/lubrication in order to be used daily. Counter at the bottom resets to the 1:00 position, but that is an easy fix. Brought back by an RAF Serviceman, it would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, panel rebuild, or restoration project!
