Description

You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Fliegerkopfhaube (Pilot Helmet) Extender Plug, as used in all fighter and bomber aircraft including the Me109, Fw190, Me262, Ju88, Me-110, Ju-87 and others!

This plug was located as part of the pilot’s flight helmet.  The pilot would plug the wire from the radio directly into the short plug on the helmet for easy communication with other pilots.  This is the connection that would have originally extended the wiring in the cockpit.

Made of bakelite and aluminum, this Radio Extender Plug and Wiring is in EXCELLENT unused condition.  Some very minor scratches due to the age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance.  The Fl. number is easy to read on the plugs, and the wiring is 100% intact!  Also includes the rare steel securing clip (prevents the plug from coming undone during flight).  I have shown where it connects to in the last photo.  A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
